2017 Week 18 Challenge – Recipes

This is my favorite cookie recipe…give it a try!

Have I made these type of cookies yet? No. To be honest, baking has never been my thing.

Looking at the time of the challenge, this was when I had recently moved to Vancouver. I was staying at a friend of a friend’s place that was quite small, so I didn’t go making these.

I did find a recipe for a type of stir-fry that I’ve been making more or less for my lunches and dinners since, however.

Here’s what it consists of:

  • Sliced pepper of some form…green pepper or red is fine
  • A couple of cloves of garlic
  • A handful of kale
  • An egg or two
  • One Green onion
  • One batch of bok choi
  • A few slices of beef or pork
  • Kimchi

Have a pot full of boiling water, and boil the slices of pork or beef. I do my grocery shopping at Korean supermarkets where it’s easy to find thin slices of beef or pork.

Cook up the rest in a pan, and throw in the beef or pork after it’s done in the mix as well. Make some room for an egg and toss that in as well.

Garnish with whatever you want…if I want a Japanese feel? Ginger, Soy Sauce, Cooking Sake. Korean? Ginger, Soy Sauce, Seasame Oil. Somehting more European? Olive oil, paresley, red vinegar wine.
