2017 Week 10 Challenge – Cooking for others

Sadly, I seemed to have misplaced the writeup for the challenge to do for this week.

It was about cooking and enjoying a meal with others.

Last week, I enjoyed a nice Pork Shoulder with my brother.

What did I throw in the slow cooker?

  • 2lbs of Pork shoulder
  • A couple of diced onions
  • Can of tomato paste
  • Can of diced tomatoes
  • Couple of tablespoons of Gochuchang (Korean hot pepper paste)
  • Can of Red Kindey beans
  • 1 Green pepper diced
  • Kimchi

I also cooked some Quinoa with some broccoli in it.

As I’m moving to Vancouver shortly, it was nice quality time with my brother just to enjoy a nice meal.

We watched Mad Max Fury Road. We watched the Oilers play. I asked him a whole batch of questions, as I don’t follow the Oilers, hockey, or really, sports in general. We chatted about Vancouver. It was nice to have a simple meal and just enjoy the company of others.
